Lord Dattatreya incarnated as Swami NaraSimhaSaraswati and it is believe that he lived in Ganagapur for 24 years. All the difficulties will be solved by the Swamiji after coming to Ganagapur. Swamiji has many students and followers. He told that in Ganagapur Bhima and Amarja rivers meet, If someone takes bath in the Sangam(confluence) of Bhima and Amarja, then all his/her difficulties will be solved. The person will get freedom from all the bad deeds & sins. Many people's disabilities were cured after taking bath in this Sangam (confluence). It is said by holy saint that the gods and angels come and visit the confluence and take bath in tiny avtar. The Ashwath Tree is the most powerful tree where devotees pray for lord dattatreya and read to attain knowledge, divine grace, enlightenment and bliss.

Reaching Ganagapur: It is said that only people who have the permission of Sri Guru Dattatreya will make the divine darshan(sight) of Lords holy feet (Padukas).
If you want complete successful darshan of lord dattatreya there are five places which you must visit in Deval Ganagapur.
First: Take bath in the holy confluence of Bhima and Amarja rivers.
Second: Near the confluence do pradakshina (circumambulation of sacred places) around Aswatha Tree. If possible sit and read Sri GuruCharitra under the shades of Aswatha Tree.
Third: Visit the Shiva temple which has all the three deities which is <5 mins from the main Dattatreya temple:
a. Lord Shani: It is said that the trunk of the tree has incarnated itself in the form of lord shani. This is a place where the negative effects of shani are removed.
b. Navagraha: This is the only place in the entire world which has all the navagrahas sculptured with their wife and vahana. This is really very beautiful and enchanting. Its very rare to see such beautiful sculpture.
c. Lord Shiva: The Shiva lingam has appeared on its own and this is a very powerful place. It is said that Many yogis and pandits come here and pray the Lord to attain powers.
Fourth: Visiting Gramadevata it is said that those who visit the temple must also take the blessing of the goddess.
Fifth: The last but the best temple which is a must visit to any devotee or visitor. It is the most beautiful temple constructed by Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swami. There is a miraculous power in the premises. The Lord Dattatreya is made using Emerald stone. The power of Lord is felt when we see the Lord Dattatreya. As if there is some positive energy which is pulling and if you are lucky you may even feel warmth. Some people say that they see the goddess Durga devi.
If you get a chance to visit all these temples, then you have been lucky, if not then don't worry next time you visit you can remember these 5 places, and thus successfully completed your ganagapuram visit.
